Society expectations. To meet or not to meet them?
We are struggling all the time to meet expectations: our parents’, our teachers’, our colleagues’, the company management, the family, the neighbours, the guy that serves you coffee, the lady that you only saw once in your life and so on. We are trying to do everything to please everyone: do not speak too loud, get dressed properly (what does this even mean?), do not be an over achiever, do not keep quiet, etc, etc, etc.
