Tweet your pitch

Living la vida loca in a start-up. Or writing a pitch :)

A couple of days ago, I had to apply for a competition and write our motivation & pitch in a tweet length. I always found it hard to write the 2–3 minutes speech-pitch, but to narrow your brilliant (hopefully) idea to 140 characters was quite a challenge.
I am not gonna brag on how was it, but I can list some recommendations to make your writing life easie (or task, depends on how important is this for you):

  • Read it out loud.
  • Use a pencil.
  • Write for someone you know.
  • Read it off paper.
  • Change venue.
  • Start in the middle.
  • Write anything, edit later.
  • Delete your first paragraph.
  • Save a copy, cut hard.
  • Change the font.
  • Sleep on it.
